National Museum of Natural History National French Museum comes to Phil and Beth Wykle The curator's assistant at the National Museum for Natural History in France was searching for items for the gallery's upcoming special annual exhibit on Tibet. "I looked on the Internet and to go to Tibet was too expensive because the areas were so very remote and hard to get to," de Torhout explained to Phil and Beth Wykle on Kooskia's Harris Ridge, Idaho. Louis de Torhour and Jack Thiney, a taxidermist, made a
trip to Kooskia where they stayed about a week on the Wykle's yak
ranch. Three yak hides will be sent to France to be reconstruct for the
exhibit. The museum, which houses about 30 million specimens, has been
in existence since the 17th century.
